Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci at the age of six. She would later be Romania's gymnastics coach. Comaneci competed for the first time in the 1969 national junior championships and finished 13th. Following that, she became champion. At her first international competition in 1972, she won the event with three gold medals. She took home four gold medals and one silver in her senior debut international competition which took place in the year 1975. This was her first time she had competed as a senior. She was the winner of the American Cup in New York City in 1976 and became the first woman in history to complete the backward double salto in dismounting from the uneven bars that are parallel. Carol Marie Wayne is a US citizen born September 6, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. Carol started her professional career as an entertainer during her teenage years. Her first job was as a model skater with her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show known as Ice Capades. These shows included skaters who were followed by musical performances.

One baby was strapped on my back as the other crawled in the playground. I spent 12 hours days for months sanding and stripping wallpaper while carrying one kid. Ha! The house was getting closer to being done, yet the project was still a way off. This was going take the time, energy, and of course my favourite shopping experience to furnish this house. My three sons and me searched for hidden gems while attending estate sales in order to reduce my expenses. The routine we had for the week consisted of walking from Thursday to Saturday through estate sales and garage sales buying a mixture of antique and brand new furniture and then I would spend weekends painting and sanding the driveway. It was a bit like this... That's where my passion for restoring furniture began. Even after our house was fully furnished, I could not stop! On the streets, I rented a small area and then sold a few pieces. Then, my collection got to the point that the space that I was living in was inadequate.
