Discovered by actor Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and began her career as a film actress during the latter half of 1940s. Over the course of the 1960s, Leigh starred in popular films such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as well as Living It Up.

One baby was strapped on my back as the other crawled in the playground. I spent 12 hours days for months sanding and stripping wallpaper while carrying one kid. Ha! The house was getting closer to being done, yet the project was still a way off. This was going take the time, energy, and of course my favourite shopping experience to furnish this house. My three sons and me searched for hidden gems while attending estate sales in order to reduce my expenses. The routine we had for the week consisted of walking from Thursday to Saturday through estate sales and garage sales buying a mixture of antique and brand new furniture and then I would spend weekends painting and sanding the driveway. It was a bit like this... That's where my passion for restoring furniture began. Even after our house was fully furnished, I could not stop!
