Gerina-Piller

She was born March 29th 1985. She was born in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican parents Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). She is Mexican origins, however she is American by nationality. At a very young age the desire for her to be involved in sports was evident. Gerina began playing golf after she was 15 years old. Gerina graduated from Goddard High School. At the age of 16, she was a winner in New Mexico's state golf tournament. A volleyball player, she was also a participant in state tournaments. She was enrolled at the University of Texas, Texas in the academic year. During the senior seasons of her professional career, she had won every tournament where she played. During her undergrad professional career, she took home her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and UTEP Female athlete of the year.
